Ein PNP-Transistor besteht aus zwei p-dotierten Bereichen und einem n-dotierten Bereich dazwischen. Der n-dotierte Bereich bildet die dünne Steuerschicht des Transistors.
Dieser n-dotierte Bereich ist mit dem Basisanschluss verbunden.
Es empfiehl sich z. B. den NPN-Transistor zu merken. Bei PNP ist dann alles umgekehrt.
